Free Model Shoot

Brian is always on the look-out for aspiring new models to work with that are based around the Shropshire area in exchange for free images.  This gives models an opportunity to build a quality portfolio without having to pay out several hundred pounds to do so.

He is prepared to consider most subjects which would compliment your portfolio including portrait, lifestyle, fashion and business shots.  Please feel free to contact him to discuss any ideas you may have or photographs you need for your portfolio.

You will be given the selected photographs from the photo shoot on CD.  The images will be selected and post processed where necessary by Brian himself ensuring you receive only the best quality images for your portfolio.

Previous modelling experience is not necessary and the photo shoot is absolutely free, all that Brian requires is that you sign a model release form allowing him to sell the images under a royalty free licence.  Images would only be sold through recognised and ethical stock libraries that Brian submits his work to; as described in the Stock Photography section on this site. You can read a typical model release form which is used for Istockphoto here

Photographs sold under a Royalty Free licence are used in digital and print media including: magazines, newspapers, leaflets, brochures, websites and books.

The stock libraries used to market the photos have very strict terms and conditions for buyers in their terms of service. Here is an important extract from one of the agencies terms of service for potential buyers...

"You may NOT use an Image in a way that places any person in the photo in a bad light or depicts them in a way that they may find offensive - this includes, but is not limited to: a) the use of Images in pornography; b) tobacco ads; c) ads for adult entertainment clubs or similar venues, or for escort, dating or similar services; d) political endorsements; e) advertisements for pharmaceutical products, including, but not limited to personal hygiene or birth control products; and f) uses that are defamatory, or contain otherwise unlawful, offensive or immoral content."
